All things fashionable consist of at least a small comprehension of the notoriety of Coco Chanel, but what I bet a lot of young women who covet this woman and her as an ideal predecessor as a designer(myself included) don’t know is that she was an eternal “mademoiselle.” Never having been married or a desire to because of her peasantry roots, she remain a mistress though only to the power. And the most shocking to me was her clear and right-winged ideals and disdain for the Jewish which led to her becoming a Nazi spy during WW2…read about her randomly just a moment and though I do still value her as a fashion figure it’s does change a bit my views on the lives of the people we view as “idolic”
